Jayme Davis for State Senate
Rooted in community. Proven in the House. Ready for the Senate.
Jayme Davis currently serves District 9 in the North Dakota House. Now she is running for the North Dakota State Senate to continue the work she has already started: listening to communities, showing up when people call, strengthening tribal-state relationships, and fighting for solutions that improve lives.
Jayme is running for District 9: for Native families, tribal nations, rural communities, children, elders, schools, workers, service providers, local governments, and everyone who deserves to be seen and heard in state government.
Why I’m Running
I am running for the North Dakota State Senate because there is still so much work to do, and I am ready to keep doing it.
Serving District 9 in the House has been an honor. I have worked hard to bring the voices of families, elders, children, tribal leaders, schools, local governments, first responders, service providers, and working people into the Capitol with respect, preparation, and a deep sense of responsibility.
This campaign is about continuing that work. It is about showing up when people call. It is about listening to what our communities need. It is about making sure Native families, tribal nations, rural communities, and everyone in District 9 has leadership that understands the challenges we face and is ready to work for solutions.
I am proud of what we have accomplished, but I know there is more to do. We need stronger health care access, better behavioral health services, stronger emergency response systems, safer communities, more housing options, support for education, fair taxation, economic opportunity, and continued action on the crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous people.
I would be honored to continue serving District 9 in the North Dakota State Senate.
Already Doing the Work for District 9
